How to create and manage brands
A Brand is the primary organizational unit in QRS. Each brand represents a company or product line. You need to create a brand before adding products, generating QR codes, or setting up verification pages.
Create a new brand
Open the Brands page
Log in to the CMS, select "Brands" from the left sidebar menu. You will see the list of existing brands.
Click the Create Brand button
Click the "Create Brand" button in the top-right corner. A brand creation form will appear.
Enter the brand name
Enter the brand name in the "Name" field. This is a required field. The brand name will appear on the product verification page.
Add a description (optional)
Enter a short description of the brand in the "Description" field. The description helps customers understand the brand when verifying a product.
Enter company information
Fill in the company details including "Company Name", "Address", and "Phone Number". These fields are optional but help build trust on the verification page.
Upload a logo
Click the "Logo" field to upload a brand logo. You can select an image from the media library or upload a new one. The logo will appear on the product verification page.
Enter a website (optional)
Enter the brand's website URL in the "Website" field. You can enter a full URL (https://example.com) or just the domain name (example.com).
Save the brand
Review the information and click "Create" to save. The new brand will appear in the list.

Manage brands
After creation, you can view, edit, or delete brands from the list. Click the brand name to view details, or click the edit icon to modify information.
Search for a brand
Use the search bar at the top of the page to find brands by name. Results are filtered in real time.
Edit a brand
Click the edit (pencil) icon next to the brand. Update the information and click "Save".
Delete a brand
Click the delete (trash) icon next to the brand. You will need to type the exact brand name to confirm deletion. Note: you cannot delete a brand that has associated products.
Important note about deleting brands
Deleting a brand is irreversible. Make sure you have transferred or removed all products belonging to the brand before deleting.
