The gate goes offline
The scanner shows its connection state clearly. Staff can see what happened without stopping the guest line.
QRS / OFFLINE CHECK-IN
500 guests are waiting. The venue Wi-Fi drops. Your team keeps scanning: check-ins are saved on the device and sync when the connection returns.
A simulation of the QRS scanner during a connection outage.
Saved on this device — will sync when online
When venue Wi-Fi fails
The scanner shows its connection state clearly. Staff can see what happened without stopping the guest line.
Valid tickets still show a successful check-in card with an Offline badge. Each scan is queued on the device with its original gate timestamp.
The queue is sent to the server when connectivity returns. Staff can see what is still pending and what needs attention.
Explore the check-in flow
Tap each step to see what gate staff see. This is a UI simulation; it does not check in a real ticket.
Online
The scanner is open and connected. Start with a venue Wi-Fi outage.
Illustrative flow; counts and times shown here are examples.
Data integrity
Two offline devices may not know about each other's scans. During sync, the server records one check-in and flags the duplicate for staff to review.
Illustration of a conflict after syncing. The server's validation determines the final state.
Before doors open
Open the event and load its guest list while the device is online. Check the offline-ready status before arrivals so the scanner has the data it needs at the gate.
QRS EVENT CHECK-IN
Scan quickly. Check in offline. Sync automatically. Prepare every gate with QRS.
